This course was introduced by Rosehall consultants in 1996 and was very well-attended. A repeat of the course was done in 2003.

Due to some client requests, the updated and improved course was re-introduced late 2010, initially as separate QC and QA courses. This year, a combined course was offered after realizing that some companies have been using the terms QA and QC without much distinction.

The course features the difference between the functions of QA and QC, QA role in quality management of Production and all the support units, use of statistical process control charts, histograms, process capability measurement, sampling methods, calibration, standards-setting, organizing for quality management of cost of quality, as well as quality control and quality improvement tools and techniques.
